- Every genuine opening is on our careers page. If it isn't there, check with us.
- Report a suspicious offer to us, and to the police or consumer protection authority where you live.
This summary is here to help. The numbered sections below are the full text.
1. We never ask for money#
People sometimes pretend to be from well-known companies to offer fake jobs, then ask for money or personal details. ManyaIT never:
- charges a fee to apply, to be interviewed, to join the Talent Network or to receive an offer;
- asks you to pay for training, equipment, a visa, a background check or a “security deposit”;
- asks for your bank details, card numbers, passwords or one-time codes before an offer; or
- makes an offer without at least one interview with a member of our team.
If anyone does any of these things in ManyaIT’s name, it is not us.
2. How we contact people#
- We email only from addresses ending in @manyait.com. We never use free email accounts such as Gmail, Yahoo or Outlook.com.
- We may call or message you to arrange an interview, but we never conduct a whole process over a messaging app alone.
- Interviews are arranged with named members of our team, and genuine offers come in writing from a @manyait.com address.
3. How to check an offer#
Every genuine opening is listed on our careers page. If you’ve been contacted about a role that isn’t there, or anything about an offer feels wrong, email hr@manyait.com before you reply, pay or share any details. Forward the message you received and we’ll tell you whether it is genuine.
4. How to report it#
If you think you’ve received a fake offer:
- Stop replying, and don’t send money or personal details.
- Forward the message, with the sender’s details, to hr@manyait.com.
- If you’ve paid money or shared bank details, contact your bank straight away.
- Report it to the authorities:
- India: the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal at cybercrime.gov.in, or call the cybercrime helpline on 1930.
- United States: the Federal Trade Commission at reportfraud.ftc.gov, and the FBI’s Internet Crime Complaint Center at ic3.gov.
- Elsewhere: your local police or consumer protection authority.
5. What ManyaIT will do#
We look into every report. Where we can, we act against the misuse of our name, for example by asking platforms to remove fake listings and accounts, and by passing evidence to the authorities. We can’t refund money paid to someone who pretended to be us, which is why we ask you to check with us first.
